Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State has constituted  Funeral Planning Committee for the Late Elder Statesman, Chief Solomon Lar, the former Civilian Governor of Plateau State.
The Committee, would be chaired by Professor Jerry Gana, and Barrister Istifanus Gyang as Secretary.other members of the committee will be drawn from Plateau, Nassarawa States, the family of Chief Lar, the Presidency, Office of the Senate President, Office of the Speaker, House of Representatives, National Headquarters of the Peoples’ Democratic Party The committee has been giving go-ahead to commence preparations for a befitting burial.
